sunshine0221's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This One's For the Stats This One's For the Stats I know, I know. Online journaling is supposed to be all about the expressing yourself, and should be its own reward. But hey, there's nothing wrong with being just a teensy weensy little bit of a stats whore is there? I've been averaging 25 hits a day for like ever, and am ready to enter a new statistical era. It struck me tonight that an entry written specifically to include key words that generate hits wouldn't be a terrible thing right? I mean, I'm sure that Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie do it all the time. Michael Jackson and Martha Stewart too, no doubt. And how about Survivor All Stars. It's going to be great. And The Apprentice? That Donald Trump sure knows how to make the money. Todd TV is way better than I thought it would be, and yay there's a new Road Rules/Real World Challenge. I do enjoy my Reality TV. And Lord of the Rings, now that's a good movie. Go hobbits. And Harry Potter. Go wizards. And let's not forget politics. Kerry! Dean! Edwards and Clark! Iowa Caucus. New Hampshire! Primaries! And I am sure the nation joined me in mourning the breakup of Bennifer. I didn't watch The Golden Globes, but I'm sure they did a good job and gave the right awards to the right people. What's with practically everyone who works for the BBC resigning over the sexing up (ooohh that's going to be a good one) of the Sadam Hussein intelligence? I have noticed that I get quite a few hits for people searching for Kahlua Especial. It is quite tasty, but so is Mango Rum, Margaritas, and I have not ever had one, but I bet Mojitos are really good too. The Mars Rover is an excellent use of our tax dollars. Health Care is just not nearly as exciting as watching rocks and dust. I think it's time to wrap this up. I'm looking at the Google News front page, and have covered almost every topic except Sports. I gotta draw the line somewhere ya know? 10:27 p.m. - January 30, 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
