sunshine0221's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for Nagging, Kelly Thanks for Nagging, Kelly! I know, I know its been a gazillion years since Ive updated here. Blame it on not writing about something which causes blockage of writing about other things. Or something. Anyway. Im angry. Im sad. I think Im going to join a convent. Other people have successful relationships. Other people have someone tell them they love them, and it actually means something. Are relationships like Algebra, some people can do them and some cant? Was I in the bathroom when good relationship karma was being handed out? Nuff of the whining. Or not. Its been HOT here. Glass-melting hot. Two days of 100+ heat indexes (I know its sposed to be indices but indices just sounds pretentious to me). And no air conditioning. Spike has been a cat rug. He just lies there and moves his eyes occasionally when he can work up the energy. Today I grabbed the mom and Ginny and we drove to Burlington. Cars have air conditioning, bless them. And on the way home the big storm finally hit and cooled things off. I have become Sally Beauty Supplys bitch. They have the coolest stuff, and an incredible selection of hair colors. I am currently one of the Preference Mega Reds that you could never find at Target. And, they have a Sallys in Burlington. Woo! I picked up more of my Mega Red, and a stonger developer which should make the color lighter. The last time I was at Sallys I got a hair gerbil - its way cool, and it matches the color my hair was when I got it. When I wear it now I look like I had some kind of freak haircoloring accident. Also my hair gerbil is looking kinda ratty. So I asked about it at Sallys today. And spent $3.99 on special hair gerbil shampooy conditiony stuff. Which is supposed to restore it to its former self. We also went to Goodwill in Burlington, and I got 12 books for $3.00. Total Amazon value $51.00. Plus I got to shop, which is always a good thing. 11:15 p.m. - June 25, 2003 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
