Someday I will get in touch with my inner over-achiever. Someday I will dance around my perfectly neat kitchen with smiling bluebirds on my shoulder. Meanwhile, back in reality-land, I can't take a step without tripping over a (much less portly) cat who is begging for the cat dieting regime to be over. My couch cushion will not stay on because there are clothes and books and god knows what else living under it. If I have to read one more article or journal entry about how glorious someone's Christmas was, I am going to hit them over the head with their perfectly adorned with ornaments handblown by real elves in Austria Christmas Tree. My Christmas was comprised of nursing duty, and a 3 a.m visit to the ER. Merry Christmas to you too. I intended to get a ton of listings done on ebay's free listing day yesterday. By the time I got around to it their servers were so overloaded that it took me two hours to do two listings. Then a guy on the Amazon message board mentions that he uploaded 6500 listings. Which means he did, hold on while I calculate this, such a huge percentage more than me that my calculator errors out. Anyone want to buy the 9 J.D. Robb paperbacks I tried to get listed? My patience ran out, and I have been a bitch, but I ate a sandwich and napped all afternoon, and feel much better now. I keep forgetting to pay my property taxes. They were due in September. If I don't get it done soon, I am going to wake up in the morning with another family living here.
